Focus FM was appointed by Tilney Bestinvest to ensure their compliance with the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) regulations just a few weeks before the Environment Agency’s submission deadline.
Our work involved carrying out energy reviews and site audits for all of Tilney Bestinvest’s commercial offices across the UK. As part of these reviews, our E&S team was able to determine the client’s significant energy uses and identify energy saving opportunities by using life-cycle cost analysis.
The proximity of the compliance deadline required our team to mobilise quickly in order to conduct the site audits in London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Our staged approach allowed a quick turnaround time of the final report, while still maintaining a high quality analysis of all data.
Our E&S team was able to mobilise quickly after being engaged and assist the client to avoid any penalties. As part of the ESOS regulations, our team conducted energy reviews and identified cost-effective energy saving opportunities of up to 155,728 kWh and £26,949 in the first year for all of the client’s commercial offices across the UK.
